RECRUITMENT
Recruitment
to the RIF is from serving Macedonian police officers who may apply
to join the unit through the normal administrative processes. In
addition, a small number of specialist instructors have been
recruited from the Macedonian Army into the RIF to increase
competence in the field of tactical operations, command and control
and logistics.
In
addition, candidates for the RIF must be between the ages of 21 and
30, be fit and healthy and have a clean criminal record. All
candidates must submit to testing and selection ( see separate
paragraph headings on this web site for more details of the
selection and training process)
